My 12yo got obsessed with Green Day’s “Boulevard of Broken Dreams” and then we discovered there’s a swear word in it. I’ve modeled not swearing for my kids, but don’t particularly shy away from them hearing swears. We laugh about it when we hear one. After adding more Green Day songs to the rotation we’re laughing a lot.
