I started a new exercise habit last year. For years I have run a substantial amount (6+ miles) every other day, like clockwork. It keeps me honest. Last September I started adding a swimming routine, every other day that I’m not running, during the work week. I am now typically doing an hour-long swim during these workouts. I still don’t ENJOY it as much as running, but it’s great to have some diversity in the workouts.
