My 14yo son woke up yesterday with the idea that he wanted a flute. He already plays oboe quite well, and has been experimenting with other instruments. He found one $25 flute on Craigslist, which fell through. Today he found another $25 flute on Facebook, and we bought it (with his money). I felt good to help facilitate this. It involved driving and picking up the instrument. It was a bonding experience, and he said “this is fun” when we were driving to pick it up.
