To the extent that NATO is a peace-keeping organization, why shouldn’t we fast-track Ukraine’s admission and make protecting that corner of Europe a priority? I admit I’m naive, but IMO if Putin wanted Ukraine to stay out of NATO, this should only accelerate its admission.
